Here we are starting out the egg hunt (Wednesday the 26th). This purple egg just would not cooperate and go in the basket! It was so cute to watch her pick it up and keep trying. Once it finally went in (and
stayed in) we started clapping and she was so proud of herself!
And after the hunt, look at all those eggs! Asher really didn't care that the egg hunt was 3 days late. :)
The eggs were filled with Hershey kisses, glow in the dark dinosaurs, and Curious George stickers. The gold and silver eggs had $$.
The only downside to the hunt was while I was hiding the eggs, I noticed something looked funny with our air/heat pump. See if you see what I mean:
Yes, that's right, that fan does NOT belong down in there. It is supposed to be where all the jagged metal edges are! Somehow it fell through, who knows when as we have still been running our heat. So John rushes inside, right in the middle of the egg hunt, to call our repair guy (Kelly) as it was already 5:15 pm and he wasn't sure if he would catch him. Turns out he had to leave a message and Kelly called back about an hour later. Said he would come out the next day around 9 am to see what was going on. More on that in next post...
