tote bag!

Wow, I did it! I made a "grown-up" tote bag. It is duck cloth which is a heavier weight cotton, almost like canvas. I even LINED it which I think makes it look much more finished. It has taken me two hours, but that was with lots of pinning and re-pinning and sewing and then ripping out stitches, etc, etc. LOL! I don't have a pattern for this, so it was completely trial and error. I love the way it turned out though! I had wanted it to be a finished size of 12x17 and it ended up 12x16. I can't believe my handles turned out, lined just like the bag. WOOHOO!!!! Here are the pics!! Alright, gotta grab some lunch before Allie gets up!
